Even though we've lived in Chicago for 2 years now (wow!) and have made a pretty huge dent in our list of things to do and places to go, there are still plenty of items on that list that we're really excited to conquer. For budget reasons, we try to space them out.
This weekend, we had friends in town and saw it as a good opportunity to go to Second City, a popular improv-based comedy club. I've really been wanting to go for a long time. Well known comedians have come from this club such as Tina Fey, Chris Farley, Mike Meyers, Martin Short, and MANY more! The show we saw was called Spoiler Alert: Everybody Dies and it was absolutely hilarious! It included a number of skits about everyday life in many types and forms and the actors/actresses were super funny! It was totally worth the money, and I'm sure we'll be back, although that will probably be when we have friends in town again.
